"WOW" Van
The WOW Van brings harm reduction, outreach, and connection to care directly into the community, meeting people where they are - reducing barriers to treatment and promoting long-term recovery. It makes consistent, scheduled stops throughout the greater Santa Rosa area, staffed by our Outreach Team. Our team provides safe use and harm reduction supplies, wound care, hygiene supplies, clothing, water, and Narcan, along with education and referrals connecting individuals to further support.

Overdose Prevention: Narcan distribution and education are a core part of outreach, helping save lives in the moments that matter most.

Trust-Based Engagement: Outreach Team builds relationships in the community over time, creating trust that often serves as the first step toward treatment and recovery.

Referrals to Center Point DAAC Programs: The WOW Van connects individuals to the full range of Center Point DAAC services, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Adolescent & Teen programming, the Perinatal Program, and Residential Treatment.

Community Resource Connections: Beyond DAAC programs, the team connects clients to housing, mental health care, dental care, LGBTQ+ resources, parenting support, women's services, and legal resources.

No Cost, No Barriers: All WOW Van services are free, and referrals to Center Point DAAC programs are covered by Medi-Cal.
The WOW Van reflects Center Point DAAC's mission to interrupt the cycles of substance abuse, poverty, and homelessness by meeting people directly in their community - with dignity, compassion, and the resources they need to take the next step, whenever they're ready to take it.
